What is the Sound of Silence?

Sound of Silence is the sound born from silence and emptiness, which synchronizes, harmonizes, and brings resonance in every cell of your body to achieve the least possible quantum state to remove habit patterns of the mind and elevate the soul.

The sound is not music, but a special sound of the lowest octave flowing from uninterrupted Gurus lineages who have experienced absolute silence and achieved enlightenment, like Guruji, Dr. Vrushakapi.

Lord Shiva revealed Dharanas with the Sound of Silence to Panini and Patanjali, practiced in the ancient Takshashila University, and retrieved by Shankaracharya from the Himalayas in the 8th century.

They have deeply therapeutic benefits at the body, mind, and soul levels, unlike all other high-frequency sounds like music, which consume oxygen.

Why are they special?

Dharanas with the Sound of Silence are not meant to be understood or interpreted, they are for listening without seeking meaning, allowing the senses, mind, intellect, and ego to dissolve in the shortest time, as taught by great yogis like Yajnavalkya, Saint Patanjali, and others.

When you practice Dharanas with the Sound of Silence, you will automatically pass through the stages of Dhyana and Samadhi (stages of meditation), many times in a cyclic manner called Samyama, similar to the sleep cycle of REM, NON-REM, and apnea.

But unlike sleep, which takes you only to the Delta level, every Dharana takes you to the Eta level of Samyak Samadhi—the Samadhi of purification or deconditioning.

Post-Exercise

•   Takes the body into a complete catabolic state where ATP generation is through ketogenic pathways.

•   Restores energy and relieves stress and tiredness.

•   A short Dharana shifts the system into a 100% catabolic state to restore ATP production by oxygen if performed after any physical activity like yoga (which is anabolic).

Only then will the exercise effect last for the next 24 hours, known as EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption), which shows whether the exercise supports conservation or overconsumption of oxygen and metabolism.

Pre-Lunch

•   Sets hunger-regulating and digestive enzyme-regulating hormones like leptin and adiponectin.

•   Helps conserve digestive enzymes and regulate appetite.

Before Bedtime

  • Resets the biological clock (circadian rhythm).

  • Regulates cell repair, detox, maintenance, growth, replication, and rejuvenation through IGF-1 and HGH regulation.

  • Takes the mind to the lowest relaxed state—Eta or Epsilon levels—called Samadhi.

  • Supports mitochondrial regulation, metabolism, and emotional transformation.

  • Reduces oxygen consumption, leading to breath becoming flat, and flowing from both nostrils, leading to the union of the corpus callosum of the brain.

  • Balance of parasympathetic and sympathetic brain.
