About the Spirit of Charity

  • What is offered towards this retreat is a Charity which comes from chaga, charita, chariya — unconditional giving, as the Vedic rishis spoke of it. It is not a fee. It is not a payment.

  • It is dependent on course venue, duration, and program which has been mentioned above. Upon selection to the program it  should be donated.

  • This charity is used to support the Tabo monastery and the village that host us, contribute towards the service of the Lamas, and help arrange the retreat venue, accommodation, travel logistics, and essential infrastructure required for the program.

  • A charity once given cannot be taken back. This is the very nature of charity — the moment return is expected, it is no longer charity. To learn more about the sacredness of giving to a charity, kindly read here.

Schedule of Charity:

•  First offering — within one week of your selection

•  Final offering — by 15 May 2026

Our retreats are structured around:

  • Held in Noble Silence, rooted in Sanatana Dharma.

  • Teachings draw from Nyingma, Tibetan Dharma Kirthi, Yoga Darshana of Nagarjuna, and the Vedas.

  • Focuses on direct inner experience, not intellectual study.

  • Spontaneous schedule allows sacred visits to monasteries, temples, and remote locations as guidance arises.

Aim:

Liberation from ego and entry into the eternal peace of the soul.

What makes our retreats unique?

Methodology

The methodology of these retreats is based on working with the mind at its subtlest level.

Dr. Vrushakapi teaches from direct experience, offering a rare opportunity to enter deep states of Dharana, Dhyana, Samadhi

Silence is maintained externally and internally through the discipline of thoughts, breath, emotions, and movement.

This process allows practitioners to:

  • Move from duality to unity

  • Replace reaction with observation

  • Conserve and observe prana through stillness

  • Align the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious

The ultimate aim is Kaivalya—the state of liberation beyond the fluctuations of mind and matter.
