THE INVITATION
Most of us meet Guruji through a screen. This is a day to sit before him.
For the first time, Guruji comes to Bengaluru, an eminent yoga acharya and award-winning scientist, carrying an unbroken Guru-Shishya parampara of the Himalayas.
The day is given to practice. You will be guided through meditation as it is taught in the Himalayan tradition, in his presence.
Watch this video to know more about Guruji
Everyone is welcome, whether you have practised for years or have never sat before.
A note on Tradition:
This is a day of listening, not an interactive workshop. In keeping with the Vedic lineages, Guruji's words are received as Shruta, by listening alone. There are no questions, doubts, or answers during the day, only hearing what is given, in the spirit of complete surrender. Guruji remains on stage throughout; personal appointments or individual meetings are not possible, and we kindly request everyone to stay seated and not approach the podium. To sit, listen, and receive is itself the meeting.

GOOD TO KNOW
Before you come
Can I meet Guruji or ask questions?
No. This is a day of listening, not an interactive workshop. Guruji remains on stage throughout, and personal appointments or individual meetings are not possible. Please see the note on tradition above.
Do I need any experience?
No. The day is open to all. Guruji teaches so that a first-time practitioner and a long-time student can both follow the same instruction.
I’m new to Guruji. Where do I start?
Watch the short video to know more about him, and simply come, this day is designed as a first meeting as much as a deepening for long-time students.
Can I bring my family?
Yes, please do. Bring your family members along, including those who have never met Guruji. Please note each person attending needs their own registration, and children must be at least 10 years old.
Do I need to arrange my own food?
No. Breakfast, lunch, and evening tea with snacks are all taken care of, so the day can stay unbroken.
Is there a session on Sunday too?
Yes, a special yoga session is scheduled for Sunday 13th September. If you can, stay for the weekend, details are shared with registered guests.
What should I bring?
A yoga mat, a bedsheet, and a pillow or cushion to sit on. Wear loose, comfortable clothing in light shades, and kindly avoid strong scents, perfumes, and jewellery. Phones switched off or on silent, please, and used only during breaks.
